In addition to the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, there are 14 States in the U.S. that regulate licensure for this natural medicine. However, if you reside in the States of South Carolina or Tennessee, the practice is prohibited. In Canada, four Provinces have established licensure guidelines.
